In the event of an emergency, do you know what to do?  Today in most areas throughout North America, there is a universal emergency telephone number to call,..... 9 1 1.

In an emergency

Dial 9-1-1

Stay Calm, answer 6 questions from the 9-1-1 operator:

 1. What is the  address of the emergency?

2. What is the phone number you’re calling from?

3. What’s the problem, and tell me exactly what happened?

4. How old is the person?

5. Is the person awake?

6. Is the person breathing?

Remember to remain calm, speak clearly and remain on the line to answer all the operator's questions.
